A site installation at Upton Hill in Arlington, Virginia. The installation documents the commercial development of one of the last large pieces of contiguous property of its kind in Arlington, Virginia.
The Beacon
The white beacon of light marks the location of the Febrey-Lothrop House which stood at 6407 Wilson Blvd in Arlington, Virginia. The 9+ acre parcel included the main house and two other side buildings, which was one of the last large pieces of contiguous property of its kind in space-constrained the county of Arlington.
The Signal
A blue signal light marks the location of the destruction of the 100 year-old trees that stood on the property.
